Yes – I gave you an estimate of the closing costs and what your net will be at the beginning of the process. That is exactly what it is…an estimate.
Once the buyer’s lender communicates with the Title Company and we get within a few days of close, we should have the final settlement statement for you to review – complete with the exact payoff for your current mortgage.
Find out more about that process and how the whole taxes thing works. It’s a bit confusing, but I try to clear it up for you a bit with the help of Mr. WHITEBOARD! 🙂
